Now he has sons in the Troop and Venture Crew 126. Paul is a Merit Badge Counselor for "Art", "Archery", "Cinematography", "Family Life", "Fishing", "Leatherwork", "Music" and "Photography". |

Asst. Scoutmaster - Michael Johnson Assoc. Advisor Venture Crew 126 michael.johnson@troop126.com Prior to taking the Scoutmaster post from 2006-2009, Mike was an assistant Scoutmaster for three years, and activities chairman for one. He is currently in the process of completing his Wood Badge Training, which is Scouting's top level of adult leader training. He is the Merit Badge Counselor for: "Citizenship in the World", "Citizenship in the Nation", "Citizen in the Community" and the "Public Health" Merit Badge. |

Scoutmaster - Brian Russell brian.russell@troop126.com Formerly the Scoutmaster of Troop 126 for three years prior to Michael Johnson’s term, Brian is now Los Fierros District Chairman with oversight of all the Scout Troops,Cub Scout Packs, Venture Crews and Sea Scout Ships in the Los Fierros District which geographically involves the cities Long Beach (south of Carson Street), Signal Hill and Avalon on Catalina Island. Asst. Scoutmaster - Brian Hill Assoc. Advisor Venture Crew 126 Honorary Tribesman brian.hill@troop126.com Having been with the troop since 2003, Brian has been an active parent since the beginning, getting trained as an adult leader, and providing excellent support for our Scouting’s “two deep leadership” rule. Brian is also an Associate Advisor for Venture Crew 126. Also, being an Honorary Tribesman of the Tribe of Tahquitz, Brian is very active in keeping the momentum going with the older scouts. In addition to staffing Camp Tahquitz each summer, the Tribe's membership focuses on Native American Dancing, and Tribal Lore. Brian recently became Merit Badge Counselor for "Personal Management" and "American Business". |

Asst. Scoutmaster - Jim F. Rank & Advancement Tracking jim.fitzsimmons@troop126.com Jim has also been with the troop since 2003. Jim has been a good natured and dependable provider of two deep leadership on countless scout outings in his tenure. As Co-Committee Chairman, he is primarily responsible for running Boards of Review (held each time a Scout is ready to advance to a new rank), and he is a back-up to Committee Chairperson Joann Hill. Previously, he served for a year as Cubmaster of Pack 126. |

Scoutmaster - Nancy S. nancy.schwartz@troop126.com Nancy Schwartz is currently a member of the Los Fierros District Training Team, and is Cub Leader Training Chair for the Los Fierros District Committee. She is Woodbadge trained, and has taken the "Putting Pizazz in the Pack," "Training Cub Scout Leaders," and "District Committees That Work" courses at Philmont (national BSA training center), and this summer will be taking the "Boy Scout Advancement" course. She is also the coordinator of the LBAC's "10 Commandments Hike." Nancy is Merit Badge Counselor for "Music" and "Scholarship". CNN Interview |

Asst. Scoutmaster - Shaleana Benson Assoc. Advisor Venture Crew 126 shaleana.benson@troop126.com Shaleana has been involved in Scouting for many years as an active Parent Volunteer and as a Long Beach Police Officer. She was Cub Pak 78 Secretary for several years. In 2006, she became the District Popcorn Chair for Los Fierros. Later, Shaleana became Council Popcorn Chair. In 2007, she became the Vice-District Chairman for the Los Fierros District. Since then, she has earned the district award of merit and Cub Scout award. In 2008, Shaleana became Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 126 and Associate Advisor for Venture Crew 126. She is Merit Badge Counselor for "Citizen in the Community", "Crime Prevention", Emergency Prep", "First Aid", "Fingerprinting" and "Personal Fitness". |

Treasurer - Linda Frankforter Cub Scout Pack 126 Link linda.frankforter@troop126.com Linda has been actively involved with both Cub Scout Pack 126 and Boy Scout Troop 126 since 2003. Formally a Weblos 2 Den Leader, she helps corodinate many outings with the Webelos and Boy Scouts. She also looks forward to becoming a Tiger Den Leader in the upcoming year. |

Webmaster - Barbara Bushong Assoc. Advisor Venture Crew 126 webmaster@troop126.com Barbara has been an active Parent Volunteer since 2005. She is currently our Webmaster for the Troop 126 website. Barbara is also an Associate Advisor for Venture Crew 126. She is very dedicated to her Crew. Newly recruited to the Los Fierros District Committee - Membership, Barbara looks forward to working with existing and new units in the area. Barbara has also been newly appointed to the position of Vice Chair for the Long Beach Area Council Web Development Committee, Barbara is honored to work on the newly created LBAC web design team. |
