Troop 126 Parent Committee

Parental involvement is an important part of the Scouting experience. You need not have been a Scout or even have outdoor experience. We can find a role for you. Most importantly, getting involved means getting to know your son and his friends! Without the support and involvement of our boys’ parents, the scouting program would not be possible. This is a boy-run troop and a parent-run administration.

We are overseen by a Troop Committee consisting of our Scout parents. The Committee holds an "All Parent Meeting" monthly, on the last Monday of every month.  All parents are requested to attend this meeting even if they do not hold a committee post.  Troop 126 operates on the philosophy that, “Many hands make light work” and we feel that it is critical for your scout to see your commitment demonstrated through your participation in troop events. For more information, contact Scoutmaster Paul Frankforter, or Committee Chairperson, Joann Hill.

The Troop Parent Committee consists of:

 Committee Chair: Joann Hill
 Treasurer: Linda Frankforter
 Equipment Coordinator Brian Hill
 Advancement Coordinator: Jim Fitzsimmons
 Webmaster: Barbara Bushong
