BOY SCOUT TROOP 126 LONG BEACH, CA
Sea Scouts is a specialized segment of the Venturing program, which was organized to address members' boating skills and promote knowledge of our maritime heritage. Swimming, lifesaving, first aid, Coast Guard Auxiliary Sailing and Seamanship, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation courses are taught with the ship by its officers. It is available to young men and women under the age of 21 who meet any of the following qualifications:
- are at least 15 years old
- OR are 14 years old and have completed the 8th grade
Prior participation in Boy Scouting is not required.
